Hi, my name is Simon, although a lot of people know me as SPUD

I’m a Qualified Shop Fitter and Site Installer and Licensed QBCC Contractor. I Studied Shopfitting as a young apprentice and did that for a few years before getting into the Joinery business. I have been doing Cabinet Making for over 16 years and I love building custom pieces for my clients. 

I started SPUDS CABINETS in 2017 as a side job, didn’t start full time production until the end of 2020. I was blown away with the number of people wanting me to help with their projects. I take pride in all the joinery items I make and love to see the clients face when they see it all coming together.

I buy all my products and hardware direct from the supplier and only suggest quality products that I would use in my own home. I am a problem solver, it’s what you have to be when you are a cabinet maker. Not everything runs to plan and to solve it on the spot is something that I do well.

I can custom build all sorts of cabinets. If you have an idea, let me know and I will bring it to life. Anything from Complete Kitchen Renovations, Vanities, Wardrobes, Book Shelves, Wine Racks and Bars, Home Office, Floating Shelves, Laundry, and just general Storage.

I enjoy supporting my community and give back whenever i can through sponsoring various sporting clubs. I love to coach kids in AFL and Running and can usually be found down at the Narangba Crows AFL fields when I'm not at work or on site.
